Linq Photonics Celebrates EXIST Grant Success for Groundbreaking Integrated Photonics Research

Linq Photonics has been awarded an EXIST - Existenzgründungen aus der Wissenschaft Forschungstransfer for Heidelberg University!
Linq, from the field of physics, is working on state-of-the-art integrated photonics technology with promising applications in the fields of quantum technologies, sensor technology and laser technology.
The winning team is Julian Rasmus Bankwitz, Xinyu Ma, and Julius Römer with guidance of their mentor Wolfram Pernice.
Supported by the #heiinnovation startup support team with Amina Daca and Michael Gerards they were able to convince the jury in Berlin and secure funding of around 1,300,000€.
They join our two running EXIST Forschungstransfer projects Silvacx with Armin Kübelbeck, Agnieszka G., Armin Götzke and Thomas Kessler as well as Powered Orthotics with Ryan Alicea, Shaymaa Abdelhamid and Nicolas Haug.
With this amazing achievement, NXTGN plans to build the startupfactory for THE LÄND to create even more great teams and startups in the future.
